Each HT Series light uses either 6(HT160) or 9(HT200) Heat Tubes, each 250mm long, filled with a thermo-conductive vapor in a partial vacuum. This vapor rapidly transfers heat away from the LED PCB and into the surrounding environment via an expansive finned surface. This enables heat conduction up to 200x faster than copper.

Our lights contain twice as many LED chips as typical lights in the same category. This reduces the load on each chip, extending lifespan and enhancing reliability. They're mounted on premium metal-core PCBs with maximum surface area per watt, preventing heat concentration and enhancing durability.
5. Precision Optics:
Each LED chip has its own lens, creating a precisely engineered beam angle to ensure focused illumination. We use optical-grade polycarbonate lens clusters for maximum light transmission and beam control.
6. Integrated Reflector-Cum-Heat Sink:
A proprietary pure aluminium reflector not only enhances illumination by redirecting stray light but also serves as a secondary heat sink, speeding up thermal dissipation.
7. High-Efficiency Drivers:
Tucana’s drivers are 90%+ efficient, isolated, and built with premium components for high performance and long life. They come with built-in 6kV surge protection, and optional 10kV external protection for sensitive environments.
8. Superior Thermal Design for Drivers:
All drivers are encased in aluminium housings and potted with thermally conductive compounds to efficiently remove heat. This contributes to the overall reliability of the light.
