Tucana's Heat tube-based HT series lights are revolutionary, massive Industrial grade lights, for Industrial use. These lights use the heat tube technology to cool the LED Chips.

LED chips which are the heart of LED lights, produce light from one side and heat from the back side. This heat, which is produced by the LED itself is the cause of lowering the LED's life and its illuminance.

So, Cooler LED chips means much longer and healthier life for the LED chip and in turn the LED light. This also means higher lumen/ watt, lower chromaticity shift, which means change of Colour temperature, longer light life, and long life for the investment.

Heat tube-based HT lights from Tucana are significantly super to commercial brands and are designed to perform the best and last the longest. These are only one of its kind of lights in the world, and are also patented and have numerous claim grants.

Inside the heat tubes, a thermo- conductive vapor phase, in partial vacuum, takes the heat generated from the LED and transfers the heat through 6/9 number of 250 mm long finned heat tubes.

1)To begin with its a massive light in comparison to commercial lights. The entire body of HT series lights are made of premium pure aluminium and Aircraft grade Aluminium alloy. The entire body of the light works as the Heat sink, which removes heat generated by LED chips through the Vapor phase, conduction and ventilation through its huge surface area.

2)Tucana uses the custom specified very lumen/ watt, high thermal conductivity high quality LED chips from the biggest LED chip manufacturer in the world. The Chips are rated at 170-190 lumen per watt, depending upon the model.

3)Apart from this we use more than double the number of LED Chips as required which also double the chip life, and performance. The LED chips are mounted on a high conductivity premium grade Metal PCB, for longer chip life. Leaving no stone unturned, At Tucana we also use the biggest surface area PCB/ watt, to further enhance the heat dissipation and reduce heat pockets.

4)Each LED chip has an individual lens. So as to create a light beam angle to cast light at the work area. We use a premium and the best-in-class lens clusters, made from optical grade Polycarbonate, for the same.

5)We use our patented heavy duty pure Aluminium Reflector cum heat sink, which hosts the LED, promptly conducts heat to atmosphere and the Heat tube-based heat sink, reflect stray radiations to the work area, thus further enhancing the Illumination efficiency.

6) Heat tube is the heart of HT series lights. They promptly conduct heat out from the LED PCB at an amazing rate up to 200 times of even copper. This heat is then dissipated through its fine in a highly ventilated zones through convection.

7) LED lights are driven by Drivers which convert incoming alternate current to specific range of DC voltage and a constant forward current. Tucana's driver are premium quality isolated drivers with an efficiency around 90% These are custom made with premium components, designed for high performance and life.

8)Just like any other electronic components, they too generate heat, which is removed with liberal aluminium housing. The drivers are potted in thermally conductive potting compound. For faster removal of heat. The drivers are provided with inbuilt surge protection of 6 KVA. We also provide another 10 KVA surge protection for sensitive zones, at a nominal cost.

9)Other elementary features are all non-corrosive components in Brass and SS-304, premium Glass filled Nylon components, plug and play Design, electrically insulated hook for protection against lightning.
